What is the cost of Mold Testing? (follow-up)

This is a follow-up on my last blog because I have already had 2 calls and people want to know... "whats the catch?".  There is no catch! I have one price for a mold inspection anywhere in Napa, Sonoma, or Marin county... period. I dont charge mileage, equipment rental, travel, tolls, etc. It is, for the most part, all inclusive. I say "for the most part" because my standard mold inspection includes up to two outside baseline air samples, two inside air samples, and one surface tape-lift sample. That is perfect for 95% of the homes I vist. The other 5% may be huge structures that need addfitional sampling, or the client may request additional samples. Thats OK because my per/sample cost is half what others charge ... and we all use the same labs. Areas outside Napa, Sonoma and Marin have a small additional charge to cover expenses, and that charge is discussed up front so that there are no suprises. I am, without a doubt, the only microbial consultant in Northern California who is a licensed contractor who has actually worked in remediation. I am also, without a doubt, the only microbial consultant with all 3 of the top certifications (CIEC, CMC, CMRS). And I am one of the few who has an actual degree, from a real college, in biology... but people really dont care about that! They care about the bottom line... what will it cost? That is why I started this business and that is why I am staying busy in one of the worst ecominic situations in our recent history.
