BioTrace for sewage losses

My new BioTrace will be here tomorrow... cool! Whats BioTrace? I'm glad you asked because I am really excited about offering this service.  The BioTrace NG Luminometer is a device that measures adenosine triphosphate (ATP), an energy molecule found in all living animal, plant, bacterial and mold cells.  With this device, I will be able to sample surfaces after a sewage problem has been cleaned up, and get results in about 15 seconds. Thats much better than sending a swab to a lab and waiting for 3-5 days for the bacteria to grow out.  I can now clear a project on-site... and if an area fails, then the contractor can be standing by to immediately reclean the area. There are so many pros... but what are the cons? The biggest one is that if an area fails, we really cannot tell if the ATP present was from bacteria, or from skin cells, or from some other source that was not related to the sewage loss. So the chance of a false positive exists. But if the sample passes, then we know that there is relatively little biomass in the sample... very little chance of a false negative.  In my opinion, this is no big deal because if an area has been properly cleaned then there should be very little cellular presence on the surface. So how much will this new technology cost? The sample cost is actually much less than a mold sample or bacterial swab. I havent actually penciled out my pricing for a sewage clearance, but it should be significantly cheaper than a mold clearance.
